The short version: we collect your email address and the products you check. That's it. No browsing history, no buyer data, no selling your information to anyone, ever.
Your per-product cost inputs, your target ROI setting, your theme preference, and your sign-in token are stored in your browser's extension storage. They never leave your machine except as needed to authenticate API requests.
If you connect your Amazon Seller account, Seller Risk Checker checks listing eligibility using Amazon's Selling Partner API. That data is used only to answer your own checks: eligibility results are held in server memory for at most one hour, are never written to a database, and are never shared with, or shown to, any other user. Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We follow Amazon's Data Protection Policy.
We share the minimum necessary data with the services that run Seller Risk Checker: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (sign-in emails). Each receives only what its function requires. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone.
Brand risk information shown in the extension is aggregated from community reports and public discussion. It reflects reports on file, not verified legal facts, and is provided to inform your own judgment — not as a guarantee of safety or risk.
Account data is kept while your account is active. Email us to delete your account and we'll remove your email, check history, and stored tokens within 30 days. Aggregated brand-report counts (not linked to you) may be retained.
The extension and this site use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies.
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
